Stipendia mohou být poskytnuta maximálně na dobu 6 měsíců, celková výše každého stipendia může činit až 20 000 australských dolarů.

The University of Queensland invites applications for a limited number of Postdoctoral Research Fellowships commencing in 2012, to be awarded to persons wishing to conduct full-time research at the University in any of its disciplines. In particular, the scheme aims to attract outstanding recent doctoral graduates to the University in areas of institutional research priority.

IIASA provides full funding for two postdoctoral researchers each year. Scholars are expected to conduct their own research within one of IIASA's research programs or special projects on topics closely related to IIASA's agenda (Energy and Climate Change; Food and Water; and Poverty and Equity).

The John F. Kennedy School of Government and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University are seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow with expertise in Science, Technology and Society (STS). The one-year position will carry a teaching load of one undergraduate course in Technology and Society; the successful candidate will also assist in STS Program activities and build links between STS and SEAS.

UNESCO designed the project “UNESCO/Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships Programme” (UNESCO/Japan Young Researchers’ Fellowship Programme) in the framework of the Japanese Funds-in-Trust for the Capacity-Building of Human Resources which was established in November 2000 by the Government of Japan to enable UNESCO to give impetus to research in four areas under UNESCO’s Priority Programme Areas:
1. Environment (with particular attention to Water Sciences);
2. Intercultural Dialogue;
3. Information and Communication Technologies; and
4. Peaceful conflict resolution.

The fellowship shall be 3 months minimum and 9 months maximum.

The Harvard Academy for International and Area Studies is dedicated to increasing our knowledge of the culture, history, and institutions of the world's major regions and countries. The Academy Scholars Program identifies and supports outstanding scholars at the start of their careers whose work combines disciplinary excellence in the social sciences (including history and law) with a command of the language, history, or culture of non-Western countries or regions. Their scholarship may elucidate domestic, comparative, or transnational issues, past or present.

The Michigan Society of Fellows, under the auspices of the Rackham Graduate School, was established in 1970 with endowment grants from the Ford Foundation and the Horace H. and Mary Rackham Funds. Each year the Society selects four outstanding applicants for appointment to three-year fellowships in the social, physical, and life sciences, and in the professional schools.

Newton International Fellowships, run by The British Academy, The Royal Academy of Engineering and The Royal Society, aim to attract the world’s best post-doctoral researchers to Britain for up to two years. The Fellowships cover the broad range of natural and social sciences, engineering and the humanities.They provide grants of £24,000 per annum to cover subsistence and £8,000 to cover research expenses, plus a one-off relocation allowance of £2,000. Newton Fellows will also become members of the international alumni association run by Research Councils UK.

The Michigan Society of Fellows invites applications to its postdoctoral fellowship program for recent PhDs in the humanities, arts, sciences, and professions.These three-year positions at the University of Michigan are open to recent PhDs who wish to pursue research opportunities while teaching at a major research university. Eight fellowships are available, with an annual stipend of $51,500. Four of these fellowships will be awarded in the humanities, with the support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The European Commission has issued the deadlines for the Marie Curie Individual Fellowships: Intra-European Fellowship (IEF), International Incoming Fellowship (IIF) and International Outgoing Fellowship (IOF).
