In the the Institut d’Etudes Européennes de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles’s (IEE-ULB) “EU, New Regionalism, and Global Governance” (EUNRAGG) research unit is recruiting a second Post Doctoral Research Fellow who will contribute to its research capacities on the specific subject of “The EU a Laboratory of Deepening Multilateralism” for the period running from October 1st 2011 to September 31th 2013 (i.e. 2 Years Contract).

In the context of collaboration between LaHC, TSE (Universit Jean Monnet) and ENSM-SE (Ecole des Mines), applications for a 12-months post-doc position in Saint Etienne, France are invited.
Main points of the position:
- Scientific domains: multi-agent systems, Semantic Web, context awareness, knowledge modelling and exchange, mobile programming (iOS, android ). While we cannot expect an applicant to be proficient in all these fields, we expect solid background for the domains in which he/she is comfortable with.

Ultrafast Optical Spectroscopy (or Femtosecond laser spectroscopy) is a powerful technique for obtaining information on the carrier and quasi-particle dynamics in material systems on ultrashort time scales. This is an emerging field that is full of challenges and new opportunities. Detailed knowledge of such ultrafast dynamics is essential for the development of novel materials for electronics and optoelectronics applications.
