Účastnice a účastníky konference vyzývá k posílání abstraktů svých příspěvků. V časopise je rovněž prostor pro recenze a zprávy, vítány jsou především recenze a zprávy relevantní k uvedenému tématu.

The University of Bergen welcomes researchers, university teachers, administrators, gender equality practitioners and student union representatives to the 7th European Conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education. The conference will focus on gender equality in a changing academic world against the backdrop of the current financial crisis in Europe and beyond.

Dr. Andrew Kam-Tuck Yip, University of Nottingham, UK and Dr. Sarah-Jane Page, Durham University, UK invite for the conference Youth, Gender and Sexuality: Contemporary Debates. This conference aims to bring together scholars in the social sciences and humanities who are doing cutting-edge theoretical and/or empirical research on young people‟s lived experiences in relation to gender and/or sexuality in contemporary society.
This deliberately small-scale conference, involving no more than 15 participants, will provide a platform for in-depth and productive dialogue. The organisers intend to publish selected contributions as an edited volume or a special issue for a journal.

In June 2012 will be held in Keele the 7th Gender, Work and Organization conference. Part of it will be a conference stream on Gender in Science Institutions and Knowledge System. The purpose of the stream is to help advance understanding of how gender equality and scientific
quality shape and are shaped by one another. New and young scholars with 'work in progress' papers are welcomed.

Jochimsen) invite for International Summer School/ Ph.D. - Forum “Classifications and the Construction of Belongings” which will be held in Essen. The school will provide insights into theoretical concepts and empirical research on the topic of belongings. The focus is on classifications and belongings which tend to change or at least to become debated in the course of migration, such as civil, ethnic and religious identities, gender and class.

Center for Human and Social Sciences (CCHS) of the National Spanish Research Council (CSIC) invites to submit proposals dealing with one of the three topics: 1) Migration Policies; 2) Intercultural Education; 3) Gender, Cultural, and Religious Differences. In particular, gender, as a fundamental factor in the process of identity negotiation, is considered of special interest.

Identities, Journal for Politics, Gender and Culture invites texts investigating the position of the body and the mechanisms of actualization or derealization of the corporeal in the contemporary political and economic relations and systems (democracy, liberalism, neo-liberal capitalism, etc.), as well as the apparatuses of fetishization and commodification of bodies, feelings and affects with the goal of contesting the investments of the neoliberal model of governmentality and political rationality in bodies, desires and subjectivities.

The 8^th European Feminist Research Conference welcomes papers that keep in focus the connections among a number of relevant axes that frame current researches in the field.
