ECDO Euroconference is an annual international meeting that will address a wide range of questions on the normal regulation and pathogenic dysfunction of distinct cell death modalities, the new strategies for neuroprotection and therapeutic cancer cell induction, and the immunogenicity of distinct cell death types. 

From 1990 to 2009, the International Summer Festival on Game Theory at Stony Brook has been a renowned academic gathering of researchers from all over the world. Kritická teorie nepředstavuje jednotný proud filosofického myšlení, zahrnuje přístupy, které jsou různými způsoby aplikovány v různých diskurzivních oblastech - od umění, sociální a politické vědy až po radikální politickou debatu. Konference je určena studujícím doktorského studia a postdokům z oblasti humanitních a sociálních věd, kteří mají zájem diskutovat svoji výzkumnou práci v perspektivě současných debat o významu kritické teorie. Příspěvky se mohou týkat například otázky po charakteru kritické teorie, kritických teorií a jejich vztahů, metodologií, politických a politologických témat, intimity nebo například kritických kultur. Abstrakty s maximálním rozsahem 300 slov můžete posílat do 30. listopadu 2008.

ENQUIRE: 3rd Issue, Winter 2009 Call for Papers: ENQUIRE aims to be established as a high quality online journal for the Social Sciences which provides an encouraging and exciting space for academic research from the UK and world-wide. The Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future" and the Nuremberg Human Rights Center are holding an international conference on the theme of human rights. With this event, the organisers are providing a forum to discuss human rights issues today in the light of the injustices that led to the human rights declaration in 1948. The conference addresses experts from research and educational institutions and interested members of the public. Some conference events will be held at historic locations, such as the former courtroom of the Nuremberg Trials and the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds.
