    Applications are invited for an Ernest Oppenheimer Early Career Research Fellowship to be held at Cambridge University in Colloid Science as broadly interpreted within the fields of biology, surface chemistry, materials science and nanotechnology. These Fellowships are intended to provide an opportunity for independent research. Applications are encouraged from individuals who have completed or expect to have completed a PhD by 1 October 2010, as well as from those who have spent a cumulative total of not more than three years in post-doctoral research.

    Faculty of Law of McGill University offers The O’Brien Fellowships for outstanding Masters or Doctoral students studying in the area of human rights and legal pluralism in the Faculty of Law, McGill University and for those who will enroll in the LL.M. or D.C.L. program at McGill.Fellowships are valued at $25,000 per annum, renewable once for Masters (LL.M.) students and twice for Doctoral (D.C.L.) students. O’Brien Fellows also benefit from a differential fee waiver, meaning that they pay fees at the level of Quebec residents, and one travel grant per year to present their research results at an academic conference. Successful applicants will have an outstanding academic record and a strong research proposal in the field of human rights and legal pluralism.

    Stipendia Bavorského Státního ministerstva pro vědu, výzkum a umění pro absolventy/ky VŠ ze zemí bývalého východního bloku

    Bavorské Státní ministerstvo pro vědu, výzkum a umění v akademickém roce 2010/11 opět udělí roční stipendia absolventům/kám VŠ ze zemí bývalého východního bloku. Stipendium slouží k financování doktorského, nástavbového či postgraduálního studia na některé z bavorských vysokých škol. Nejprve je poskytnuto na jeden rok a na základě žádosti může být až dvakrát prodlouženo (celkem tedy až na tři roky). Stipendium dosahuje výše 700 eur měsíčně. Rodiče minimálně jednoho dítěte, kteří jsou buď samoživiteli nebo mají nezaměstnaného partnera, mohou získat měsíční stipendium 860 eur.
