Letošní novinkou je rozšíření seznamu oborů také o zemědělství. Cílem pobytu je absolvování celého doktorského programu na americké univerzitě a získání titulu Ph.D. Formulář online přihlášky bude zveřejněn 1. února 2010.

The scholarship program Settling Into Motion seeks to address the ongoing transformations in societies where migration is just one factor among others generating change. For 2010 proposals studying "Migration, Diversity and the Future of Modern Societies" are especially welcome. Applicants must be Ph.D. students of – in a broad sense – social sciences. The scholarships involve a monthly stipend of 1.200 Euros as well as yearly conferences and workshops.

Newton International Fellowships, run by The British Academy, The Royal Academy of Engineering and The Royal Society, aim to attract the world’s best post-doctoral researchers to Britain for up to two years. The Fellowships cover the broad range of natural and social sciences, engineering and the humanities.They provide grants of £24,000 per annum to cover subsistence and £8,000 to cover research expenses, plus a one-off relocation allowance of £2,000. Newton Fellows will also become members of the international alumni association run by Research Councils UK.

The Managers of the Herchel Smith Postdoctoral Research Fellowships Fund invite applications for a Fellowship in the areas of Astrophysics or Cosmology to be held either in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) or in the Institute of Astronomy (IoA) at the University of Cambridge.
