The Albright Institute, the oldest American research center in the Middle East, invites the applications for 2 fellowships programme:
1) Andrew W. Mellon Research Fellowships 2010-2011 - 3 month, available in any area within the interest of the Albright (archaeology, anthropology, art history, Bible, historical geography, history, and ancient languages and literature, religion and related subjects), eligible for centre-east European post-doctoral researchers.

Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research (FAS) invites applications for The International Postdoc Fellowship Programme. The objective of the programme is to develop competence and at the same time promote international research mobility and cross-border research collaboration. FAS’ International Postdoc Fellowship Programme consists of two types of grants: FAS Outgoing International Postdoc fellowships (FOIP) and FAS Incoming International Postdoc fellowships (FIIP). The purpose of the outgoing fellowships is to give researchers the possibility to spend up to 24 months at a foreign research institution.

Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen and Czech Academy of Sciences Institute of Sociology are announcing a call for applications for The Changing Europe Summer School 2010 which wants to offer a forum for empirical research on informal networks, clientelism and corruption with a regional focus on Central and Eastern Europe. University of Oxford announces the eighth Oxford Internet Institute (OII) Summer Doctoral Programme (SDP). The aim of the programme is to bring together advanced doctoral students engaged in dissertation research relating to the Internet and other ICTs. Students can enhance the quality and significance of their thesis research and create a peer network of excellent young researchers. The Center for the Humanities at Temple University invites applications for the External Humanities Fellowship program in 2010-11, renewable for a  second year. Fellows pursue their own research, participate in the  activities of the Center, and teach one course per semester, with no teaching in the first semester. Applicants must have the Ph.D. in hand and be no more than three years beyond the degree on the application deadline. Application materials include: letter of interest, c.v., sample of scholarly work, three letters of reference, and a 2-page proposal for an interdisciplinary course in the humanities you would like to teach.

Institute for Advanced Studies on Science, Technology and Society (IAS-STS) invites researchers to apply for a stay between 1 October
