AntropoWeb při Katedře antropologických a historických věd Fakulty filozofické Západočeské univerzity v Plzni pořádá 6. mezinárodní studentskou vědeckou konferenci, tentokrát zaměřenou mj. i na diskusi nad současnými podobami antropologie ve střední Evropě, a i proto nazvanou Antropologie? Ano, Antropologie! konference je určena předně pro studentky a studenty bakalářských, magisterských či doktorských oborů antropologie a příbuzných věd. Studenti/tky zde mají možnost prezentovat výsledky jejich aktuálního bádání na poli humanitních a sociálních věd.

The research group headed by Prof. David Basin at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH Zurich) has two open positions for PhD students in formal development and testing of secure software. The PhD student employed will be given the opportunity to carry out a PhD in Computer Science at ETH Zurich.
Eligibility
* Master’s or equivalent degree (e.g. Diplom).
* designed for enthusiastic students with a strong background in formal methods or mathematical logic;
* with an interest in applying their knowledge to formal development and testing of secure software;

The Templeton Dissertation Fellows in Evil in Early Modern Philosophy of Religion and Theology Program will provide at least two one-year awards with the possibility of a second year renewal in 2011 and up to two one-year awards in 2012. Fellows will spend their time in residence at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, interacting with leading scholars in early modern philosophy of religion and theology, and the philosophy of religion, for the purpose of undertaking cutting-edge doctoral research on their topic.
